ryan Bell has been a successful entrepreneur in business, having been the General Partner of 26 Limited Partnerships in oil leasing and drilling, and in real estate. He has also taught courses in and given lectures on Entrepreneurship.
He has been President or Chairman of the Boards of seven civic, church, and school organizations, and served on the boards of or been advisor to several others. He has also lectured on making boards and committees more effective.
He has been the recipient of a number of honors and awards, including the Times Picayune Loving Cup in recognition of outstanding civic service.
A graduate of Princeton University, he holds a Master's Degree from Tulane University. After landing on the Normandy Beach, he served as an Infantry Platoon Leader in Patton's army in World War II.
Two books, Lessons in Lifemanship and An Infantry Platoon Leader in Patton's army have been authored by him.
A very strong commitment of his life is to his wife and five children, and he is blessed with a happy family life. New Orleans has always been his hometown as he lives eight blocks from where he was born and three blocks from where he went to 1st grade!
